The show is gearing up for a move to New York City for its upcoming fifth season.

It’s going to be a busy summer for Kelly Clarkson. In addition to her upcoming album, Chemistry, as well as a Vegas residency, Clarkson is set to move her talk show from Los Angeles to New York City for its upcoming fifth season. However, while Clarkson often presents a happy, kind demeanor, some members of the show’s staff have alleged toxicity behind the scenes.

Though much of the staff have said that Clarkson herself was unaware of the alleged toxicity and mistreatment of the staff, the “Mine” singer has taken to Instagram to address these allegations. She noted that upon the move to New York City, she and the show’s staff will undergo a special leadership training, in order to ensure kindness throughout the show’s operations.

“In my 20 years in the entertainment industry, I’ve always led with my heart and what I believed to be right,” she said. “I love my team at The Kelly Clarkson Show, and to find out that anyone is feeling unheard or disrespected on this show is unacceptable. I have always been and will continue to be, committed to creating and maintaining a safe and healthy environment at The Kelly Clarkson Show. As we prepare for a moved to the East Coast, I am more committed than ever to ensuring that not only our team that is moving, but also our new team in NY, is comprised of the best and kindest in the business.”

She continued, saying, “Part of that build will include leadership training for all of the senior staff, including myself. There is always room to grow and ensure we are all being/becoming the best version of ourselves in any business, especially when it comes to leadership, to ensure that any notion of toxicity is eradicated.”

A key segment in ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ really resonated with Fox, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease.

Michael J. Fox has a new film out: a documentary about his life called Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie. It finds the beloved actor reflecting on his life and career, especially how it was impacted by Parkinson’s disease. A few years ago he formally retired from the profession that made his name, citing escalating health concerns. In a recent interview, he revealed what made him go through with the difficult decision.

In an interview with Empire (in a bit caught by Deadline), Fox — who’s spoken about how his condition made remembering lines difficult — said a scene in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood really resonated with him.

“There’s a scene where Leonardo DiCaprio’s character can’t remember his lines anymore,” Fox explained. “He goes back to his dressing room and he’s screaming at himself in the mirror. Just freaking insane. I had this moment where I was looking in the mirror and thought, ‘I cannot remember it anymore.’”

Instead of making him feel worse, Fox said the scene gave him the strength to do what was necessary. “[I was like] ‘Well, let’s move on,’” he said. “It was peaceful.”

Fox’s last onscreen acting credit was in a 2020 episode of The Good Fight. That doesn’t mean he’s retired from the public eye. He makes appearances now and then, including a Back to the Future reunion with Christopher Lloyd earlier this year. Then there was that time last year when Woody Harrelson, while presenting him with a humanitarian award, told a wild story about that time Fox puked up a cocktail of cobra blood.

Jonathan Kuminga could be interested in playing elsewhere if the Warriors can’t give him a more prominent spot in their rotation.

The Golden State Warriors‘ “two-timeline” strategy did not produce a championship this year. The idea, essentially, was that the team could still compete at the highest level right now with its veteran core while bringing along a number of promising young players who can take the baton from Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson whenever that day comes.

The limitations both parts of that strategy have were on display throughout the year, and ultimately, the team just did not have enough to compete this season. Jonathan Kuminga, for example, lost his place in the rotation during the playoffs, and in the team’s Western Conference Finals series against the Los Angeles Lakers, the former No. 7 overall pick appeared in four games and averaged 6.3 minutes per game.

Apparently, Kuminga’s role is going to be a major thing Golden State needs to sort out this summer. According to Anthony Slater and Shams Charania of The Athletic, if the team cannot give him a “full-time role,” the 2021 first-round pick is going to want a change in scenery.

There’s an acknowledgement from the Warriors’ decision makers that some amount of rotation retooling is needed this summer. That could put Kuminga’s future in question. It’s been difficult to fit him into lineup combinations with both Green and Kevon Looney – two non-shooters – and that frontcourt logjam ahead of him is expected to remain in place.

The Warriors and Kuminga’s representatives are expected to discuss his future this offseason, league sources say. Golden State will need to decide whether Kuminga will receive a full-time role moving forward, and, if not, league sources say the No. 7 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft will want to be somewhere he can play more.

The Warriors have already traded one of the players who was a building block of the two-timeline strategy when they moved James Wiseman in a multi-team deal to bring Gary Payton II back at the trade deadline. Of course, it’s very easy to justify keeping Kuminga, who turns 21 in October, and hoping another year or two of development turns him into the kind of two-way force that would help Curry and co. considerably as they age. But if there is a sense of urgency that prevents the team from waiting for this, perhaps he can be the sort of trade chip that makes the Warriors all-in on winning another championship next season.

During his second year in the NBA, Kuminga appeared in 67 games, with 16 of them coming as a member of the starting lineup. He averaged 9.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 20.8 minutes a night while hitting 37 percent of his attempts from three.

Laura Ingraham was not happy that characters on the franchise’s latest animated show features characters stating their pronouns.

Here are some things that have caused Fox News to throw a fit: Legos, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, Muppets, M&Ms. The common denominator with these has been their perceived “wokeness.” For example, Tucker Carlson, who had previously found himself aroused by the animated green M&M character, got mad when they introduced a brown candy he described as a “distinctly frumpy lesbian.” Tucker’s gone now, but Laura Ingraham remains, and now she’s mad at non-binary Transformers.

As per Mediaite, Friday night’s installment of The Ingraham Angle devoted a segment to the Paramount+ cartoon Transformers: EarthSpark, which bowed in November. Specifically she was angry about the new character Nightshade, who uses they/them pronouns. In a scene Ingraham showed on-air, one character apologizes to them for misgendering them. In another, a different character declares her pronouns “she/they.”

Well, Ingraham wasn’t having it, thundering that the kid-geared show “is shoving these inane pronouns down the throats of seven-year-olds,” adding, “I mean, we’re lucky to get them to spell the regular pronouns and get those straight.”

She wasn’t done. “Well, this isn’t normal, it’s not trendy, it’s not cool,” Ingraham said of something that kids these days see as normal, trendy, and cool. “These are destructive and corrosive lies. And they’re only gonna end when enough responsible adults say, ‘Cut it out. We’re not funding this anymore. So. don’t be afraid to stand up and say that.”

Which children’s entertainment will Fox News accuse of “going woke” next? Maybe if Bob the Builder is revived, he can moonlight as a drag queen, earning himself the ire of Megyn Kelly.

Draymond Green can hit unrestricted free agency this summer, and addressed his future after the Warriors were eliminated by the Lakers.

Draymond Green‘s future may be the biggest question the Golden State Warriors need to answer this offseason. While figuring things out with general manager Bob Myers, the extension-eligible Klay Thompson, and the myriad of young players who inspired the team’s “two-timeline” approach are all important, Green has the ability to opt out of his contract and become an unrestricted free agent.

On the heels of the Warriors’ Game 6 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Semifinals that ended their season, Green addressed the elephant in the room and expressed his desire to remain with the Warriors for “the rest of my life.”

“As far as my contract goes, obviously I have an opt-out, everybody knows about that, I know about that, I’m aware of that,” Green said. “I’ve told you guys for years, I wanna be a Warrior for the rest of my life. I wanna ride out with the same dudes I rode in with. I think we’ve put the work in to make that happen, here we are with our worst season as a whole since 2014, and yet we had a chance to make another run.”

The good news, according to Anthony Slater and Shams Charania of The Athletic, is that the team plans to discuss a multi-year deal, “either via an opt in and extend or an entirely new deal after an opt out.” Green has spent his entire 11-year career with the team, which took him with the 35th pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. It was reported back in July of 2022 that, fresh off of winning a championship, Green “wants and believes” that he should get a max extension.

This is only the second time she’s performed the song live.

Taylor Swift‘s Eras tour continues to be a gift to fans. Last night (May 12), she brought the critically-acclaimed tour to Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, for another one of her jam-packed productions.

Throughout the course of the tour, Swift has made good on her promise to include at least one song in her three-hour set unique to each city. Last night, she performed two — “Gold Rush” from Evermore and “Come Back…Be Here” from Red.

Though the song was originally released in October of 2012, this only marks the second time Swift has performed the song live — the first being the Toronto stop of her Reputation tour. The performance of “Come Back…Be Here” came by her friend, collaborator, and tour opener, Phoebe Bridgers.

“I take requests if they are polite and decently worded,” said Swift, before proceeding to perform “Come Back…Be Here.”

While Swift is known to share stories of love in her music, she tends to keep details rather mum about her personal life.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Bridgers praised Swift’s ability to maintain an air of secrecy about her life, while having fun and making music.

“She’s such a deep, wise human being, and has not sacrificed fun at all,” said Bridgers. “She validates those boundaries that people have tried to take from her for her whole life.”

A report on the casting for the DCEU’s rehabbed Superman film floats some names being considered for the big roles.

The DCEU, as you may have heard, is in the midst of a makeover. Late last year, James Gunn and Peter Safran were handed the keys to the comic movie wing of Warner Bros. Discovery, and their overhaul is such that you might never see Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman again (and maybe not even Jason Momoa’s Aquaman after his forthcoming sequel). Even Henry Cavill is out as Superman (though he may return as another DC character). That’s because Gunn himself is handling a new Man of Steel picture, subtitled Legacy. Casting is already underway, and a new report floats some names, including a biggie for a new Lux Luthor.

A new piece by The Hollywood Reporter claims that, while most of the big Superman: Legacy roles have attracted many names, there’s only one for Lex Luthor: Nicholas Hoult. The Renfield actor’s name, THR reports, has “swirling around Legacy for several weeks now,” though initially people thought he was gunning for the big guy himself. But perhaps the guy who made for a rage-filled — and bald — War Boy in Mad Max: Fury Road might be a better fit for Supe’s also bald main nemesis. (Besides, Warner execs have reportedly “loved” him since that movie.)

But what about Clark Kent? THR reports that the top choice is David Corenswet, who was second-billed after Mia Goth in last year’s X prequel Pearl. Other names being considered are Tom Brittney and Andrew Richardson, two British actors that are still relatively unknown in the U.S. All three would fit the tradition of casting an up-and-comer in the role of Krypton’s most famous son.

As for Lois Lane, some names being bandied about include Sex Education breakout Emma Mackey, Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor, Rachel Brosnahan, and Samara Weaving.

Take most or all of this with a quarry of salt, though: One of the sources who spoke to THR wrote off some of these names as “a chatroom list,” while a studio insider said they’re nowhere near making a decision. But if Hoult nabs the role of Luthor, it’d make for a fun career arc for a guy who broke through as a nice boy who annoys then befriends Hugh Grant.

The soundtracks are equally as action-packed as the movies.

While the Fast And Furious movies always promise to be action-packed, equally as thrilling are their accompanying soundtracks. Each of the Fast soundtracks usually contains a good mix of rap, hip-hop, and R&B tracks, and the soundtrack for Fast X is no different.

The Fast X soundtrack will arrive next Friday, in tandem with the movie. Ahead of its release, a few songs from the soundtrack have dropped, including an updated version of Daddy Yankee‘s “Gasolina” with Myke Towers, as well as “Toretto” by J Balvin. Another song, YG‘s “Let’s Ride” features Ty Dolla $ign, Lambo4oe, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and posthumous vocals from The Notorious B.I.G.

Jimin of BTS is also set to release a new song from the soundtrack called “Angel Pt. 1,” which will feature Kodak Black, Muni Long, NLE Choppa, and JVKE.

Steve Kerr gave a harsh assessment of the 2022-23 Golden State Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors saw their title defense come to an end in the Western Conference Semifinals this year. On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Warriors at Crypto.com Arena, 122-101, to win their series in six games and send Golden State into the offseason far sooner than it would have liked.

It marked the first time that a healthy Warriors team failed to make at least the conference finals since 2014, and now, the front office has to figure out a number of things if they want to get back to their championship winning ways. Steve Kerr addressed this after Game 6, as he made clear that the team just was not good enough to get the job done.

“To be fair I think this team ultimately maxed out,” Kerr said after the game, according to Kendra Andrews of ESPN. “We were barely in the playoff picture most of this year … This is not a championship team.”

The most pressing things are the futures of a trio that have been at the center of the Warriors’ success. Draymond Green has a player option for next year, general manager Bob Myers is out of contract this summer, and Klay Thompson is eligible for an extension. There are also the futures of some of the team’s younger players, like Jordan Poole and Jonathan Kuminga, and whether Golden State wants to continue hoping they can contribute to a contender or if they need to be flipped for more win-now pieces.

A Corgi on the internet played a major role in the Western Conference Semifinal series between the Lakers and the Warriors.

According to the American Kennel Club, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi is “a strong, athletic, and lively little herder who is affectionate and companionable without being needy.” They are considered to be a smart breed, one that is capable of things like going viral on the internet because of their knowledge of the game of basketball.

If you have a Twitter account and found yourself scrolling at any point over the last few days, perhaps you saw a bunch of fans of the Los Angeles Lakers or the Golden State Warriors tweeting about Corgis. There’s a very simple reason for this: There is a TikTok account dedicated to an extremely good dog that makes predictions on sporting events by hitting a ball that bounces into a specific basket. And for Lakers-Warriors, the account — @aircorg, aka Steph Furry, aka Fluffy Mamba (I, also, cannot believe I just typed out any of that) — successfully predicted each of the first five games.

Of course, the dog was perfect right up until Game 6, as the prediction ended up being that the Warriors would rally from a 3-1 deficit to move on to the Western Conference Finals. Instead, L.A. won Game 6 to punch their ticket, which led to plenty of jokes at the dog’s expense.

The official SportsCenter Twitter account also decided to get in on the fun.

Apparently, even the Lakers knew what was going on with this dog.
