How to Get Slimmer | 9 Weight Loss Habits to Master
Get Slimmer & Healthier
One of the things that makes dieting difficult is the fact that it is impossible for you to see immediate effects.
While you will not be able to lose 10 pounds in just a day, there are some things that you can do to make sure that you will wake up slimmer and healthier in the morning.
Here are some things that you can do to make sure that you will see amazing results right away!
1. Kiss Yogurt Goodbye
Experts say that yogurt contains bacteria that are good for the stomach. However, the commercially manufactured yogurt products contain high amounts of sugar that allow the bad bacteria to thrive inside the stomach.
Additionally, these are also loaded with lactose which many people have problems digesting and processing. The worst part is the combination of these two can lead to inflammation as well as bloating.
As a result, you will feel fatter and a lot more unappealing. If you really love yogurt, then you have to opt for plain yogurt to avoid the high sugar levels that will do you harm.
2. Do a Full-Body Workout
One of the best full-body workouts you should try is the thruster. This will take about 8 minutes. The first step of this workout is to stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
Hold a pair of dumbbells with your palms facing one another. After that, lower your hips like you do when squatting. In one swift motion, extend your legs and stand up and place your dumbbells overhead.
Do this repeatedly for as many as you can. If you are tired, then rest. Afterward, keep on doing the routine for about 8 minutes.
Increase your weights as time goes by. If you can’t do a full-body workout, daily exercises like biking can help too!
3. Shower Before You Sleep
A good sleep always comes when it is cold, not when it is hot and muggy. This is why it is recommended that you take a shower before sleeping in order to stimulate the thermostat of your body allowing you to sleep a lot faster.
When you sleep better, you reduce the levels of stress hormone in your body. This hormone also acts as the body’s fat storage. Now, that’s hitting two birds with one stone.

4. Have a Heavy & Healthy (and delicious) Breakfast
If you wish to start your day the right and healthy way, then there is one breakfast meal that you should try. Cook some oats add in some dark chocolate shavings, a couple of berries, nuts of your choice, and a dust of cinnamon.
The combination of such ingredients leads to the production of a substance called butyrate which lowers the inflammation and insulin resistance of the body. These ingredients are not only healthy but delicious as well.
5. Keep Chinese Foods Off Your Menu
Chinese foods may be delicious but Chinese takeout contain too much salt that retains water in the body causing you to be and feel bloated.
If you wish to make sure that you will not wake up with a big tummy, do yourself a favor and avoid Chinese foods.
6. Avoid Sugarless Gums
When dieting, you would not think that chewing gums (especially the sugarless ones) may harm you but they will. Sugarless gum contain sorbitol.
This substance is quite difficult to digest and an undigested form of sorbitol can stimulate the fermentation of bacteria in the intestine. This will cause flatulence as well as bloating.
7. Avoid Consumption of Energy Bars
For your information, energy bars should actually be called calorie bars as they are loaded with high amounts of calories. In addition to that, these also contain soybeans which may promote flatulence and induce gas.
Also, these bars are highly chemically processed which is unhealthy for the body. Lastly, protein bars contain whey which can be quite difficult to digest for people with lactose intolerance.
8. Say Goodbye to Dried Fruits
Just like fresh fruits, dried fruits also contain high amounts of protein and fiber. However, its high fructose content has the tendency to induce gas in people who have problems.
If you want a healthier option, you can go for citrus, berries, and fresh stone fruits.
9. Drink a Plant-Protein Smoothie
If you wish to boost your weight loss process, then you need to increase your protein consumption. The best way to do that is by drinking a protein smoothie.
However, the commercially produced protein smoothies have hidden sugars and chemicals that can lead to bloating and inflammation. Opt for a vegan protein smoothie as a healthier alternative.
