How to Get Slimmer | 9 Weight Loss Habits to Master
Get Slimmer & Healthier
One of the things that makes dieting difficult is the fact that it is impossible for you to see immediate effects.
While you will not be able to lose 10 pounds in just a day, there are some things that you can do to make sure that you will wake up slimmer and healthier in the morning.
Here are some things that you can do to make sure that you will see amazing results right away!
1. Kiss Yogurt Goodbye
Experts say that yogurt contains bacteria that are good for the stomach. However, the commercially manufactured yogurt products contain high amounts of sugar that allow the bad bacteria to thrive inside the stomach.
Additionally, these are also loaded with lactose which many people have problems digesting and processing. The worst part is the combination of these two can lead to inflammation as well as bloating.
As a result, you will feel fatter and a lot more unappealing. If you really love yogurt, then you have to opt for plain yogurt to avoid the high sugar levels that will do you harm.
2. Do a Full-Body Workout
One of the best full-body workouts you should try is the thruster. This will take about 8 minutes. The first step of this workout is to stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
Hold a pair of dumbbells with your palms facing one another. After that, lower your hips like you do when squatting. In one swift motion, extend your legs and stand up and place your dumbbells overhead.
Do this repeatedly for as many as you can. If you are tired, then rest. Afterward, keep on doing the routine for about 8 minutes.
Increase your weights as time goes by. If you can’t do a full-body workout, daily exercises like biking can help too!
3. Shower Before You Sleep
A good sleep always comes when it is cold, not when it is hot and muggy. This is why it is recommended that you take a shower before sleeping in order to stimulate the thermostat of your body allowing you to sleep a lot faster.
When you sleep better, you reduce the levels of stress hormone in your body. This hormone also acts as the body’s fat storage. Now, that’s hitting two birds with one stone.
4. Have a Heavy & Healthy (and delicious) Breakfast
If you wish to start your day the right and healthy way, then there is one breakfast meal that you should try. Cook some oats add in some dark chocolate shavings, a couple of berries, nuts of your choice, and a dust of cinnamon.
The combination of such ingredients leads to the production of a substance called butyrate which lowers the inflammation and insulin resistance of the body. These ingredients are not only healthy but delicious as well.
5. Keep Chinese Foods Off Your Menu
Chinese foods may be delicious but Chinese takeout contain too much salt that retains water in the body causing you to be and feel bloated.
If you wish to make sure that you will not wake up with a big tummy, do yourself a favor and avoid Chinese foods.
6. Avoid Sugarless Gums
When dieting, you would not think that chewing gums (especially the sugarless ones) may harm you but they will. Sugarless gum contain sorbitol.
This substance is quite difficult to digest and an undigested form of sorbitol can stimulate the fermentation of bacteria in the intestine. This will cause flatulence as well as bloating.
7. Avoid Consumption of Energy Bars
For your information, energy bars should actually be called calorie bars as they are loaded with high amounts of calories. In addition to that, these also contain soybeans which may promote flatulence and induce gas.
Also, these bars are highly chemically processed which is unhealthy for the body. Lastly, protein bars contain whey which can be quite difficult to digest for people with lactose intolerance.
8. Say Goodbye to Dried Fruits
Just like fresh fruits, dried fruits also contain high amounts of protein and fiber. However, its high fructose content has the tendency to induce gas in people who have problems.
If you want a healthier option, you can go for citrus, berries, and fresh stone fruits.
9. Drink a Plant-Protein Smoothie
If you wish to boost your weight loss process, then you need to increase your protein consumption. The best way to do that is by drinking a protein smoothie.
However, the commercially produced protein smoothies have hidden sugars and chemicals that can lead to bloating and inflammation. Opt for a vegan protein smoothie as a healthier alternative.
Watch this video by Healthline and find out why getting enough sleep might help you lose weight:
When you follow these weight loss tips, you’ll be able to wake up to a slimmer and healthier body. It’s always a process but with these tips, you will see beautiful results in a short period of time.
Always remember to listen to your body, be gentle, and understand its needs. And, don’t forget to consult an expert before anything else so your mind and body will be aligned with your goals.

The new collection from Guerlain is so pretty, it’s hard not to even dream about owning the entire thing. But my ultimate favorite from the new Happy Glow line is the Meteorites Happy Glow Pearls.
This spring, we’re all gunning for that glowing and illuminating makeup look and this product will help you achieve that. It also helps with strobing, light sculpting, and light contouring.
2. Lancôme La Rose a Poudrer
One of the most beautiful makeup products brought to life is the Lancôme La Rose a Poudrer. It’s so beautiful that even if you don’t use it, you just got to have it in your makeup collection!
What is it by the way? It’s a highlighter that helps illuminate the skin with its powder-infused petals.
3. Dior Colour Gradation Eyeshadow Palette
Dior Beauty has really taken their spring makeup collection up a notch with their new Colour Gradation collection.
One of the highlights of the collection is this Colour Gradation Eyeshadow Palette, which comes with four tone variations of blue and pink.
There’s the Blue Gradation that showcases four tones from sky blue to pure azure, and then there’s the Coral Gradation that offers four tones from light coral to carnal bronze.
4. The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX Dessert Lip Balm
No products found.
Got a sweet tooth? You’ll love these desserts lip balm from The Face Shop. The lip balms come in three sweet flavors of strawberry, orange, and honey.
But what seals the deal here is the very cute packaging, like seriously, can you resist not having one of those? And how cute is that honey applicator?
5. Beauty Blender Bubble
Who doesn’t love Beauty Blender? Ever since this product came out, it has made blending face makeup like a dream! The brand releases the Beauty Blender Bubble to celebrate its 15th anniversary.
And wait for it, this one comes in soft pink hue ladies!
6. Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist
With the sun up and high, that means that you might fight your way against oily skin. Let this cute Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist help control the oil while keeping the skin refreshed and hydrated all day.
Further, you’ll be happy to know that this is formulated with a fusion of fruit extracts. Oh and let’s not ignore the fact that the packaging is a bunny which is perfect for Easter!
7. Etude House Cherry Jelly Lips Patch
Korean makeup brands come up with the best things, don’t they? So if you haven’t heard, there are also patches for the lips now.
It works like a facial sheet mask where you just apply on the lips for 10-15 minutes and you have moisturized, plumper, and revitalized lips!
Etude House has two types of lips patch, the Cherry Jelly for revitalizing, and the Honey Jelly for moisturizing.
There’s no perfect way to package an eye product other than with a panda! They’re super cute, but Tony Moly wants you to know that if you don’t like dark eye circles, you should use their Panda’s Dream So Cool Eye Stick.
It’s actually a serum on a stick that cools and moisturizes the skin around the eyes. This will help de-puff tired eyes, soothe skin, and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
9. NYX Stripped Off Whipped Cream Cleanser
A new entrant to the skincare market is NYX with its Stripped Offline, and what can I say? Strip it off girl! This collection is composed of seven cleansers each with its own unique formula.
My favorite is the whipped cream cleanser, because, really, who doesn’t love whipped cream? It’s soft, foamy, airy, and light on the skin!
10. Tony Moly Hello Bunny Perfume Bar
Tony Moly has the most adorable product packaging! Another proof of that is this Hello Bunny Perfume Bar, which by the way, has a pretty good concept behind it too.
As its name says, it is perfume in bar form, so you can easily rub it on your neck, wrist, or clothes. Since it’s waxy as well, there’s a better guarantee that the scent will last longer.
Plus, with its cute little packaging, this baby will be easy to carry around wherever you go!
11. Etude House My Castle Hand Creams
Okay, calm down! I know how cute these hand creams are, but you must know what makes them a good inclusion in your Easter basket.
Aside from the packaging, these hand creams are actually formulated with plant extracts (White Mallow, Chamomile, Lavender, Lemon Verbena, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf, Centella Asiatica), humectants to prevent loss of moisture, and emollients to make the skin softer and smoother.
Etude House offers hand creams in four colors: Pink Wish, Ice Frozen, Forever Rose, and Sweet Cookie.
12. Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau De Toilette
I had to choose one extraordinary perfume to add to our list of Easter basket goodies and we got the winner right here! Daisy by Marc Jacobs, is by far, one of the best fragrances you can wear this spring season.
It has a fruity floral scent with keynotes such as strawberry, jasmine, violet leaves, and white woods. And what about that packaging? It’s screaming springtime!
13. Anna Sui Nail Colors
We don’t just do our makeup and hair, we also love doing our spring nails too. Anna Sui’s nail polishes come in different designs, all unique but very pretty.
Apart from the lovely bottles, you’d also like the stunning shades and excellent formula. It’s easy to work with and glides on your nails with perfection!
14. Bath and Body Works PocketBac Sanitizers
I always say, never leave home without your pocket sanitizers. And if you have these beautiful babies from Bath and Body Works, you’ll never have to!

16. Etude House Strawberry Sponge Hair Rollers
As tempting as it is to eat them, these strawberries are for your hair love! These soft strawberry sponge rollers help curl the hair without using heat.
The rollers are made of soft cotton so there’s no need to worry about damaging your hair. Oh my, they’re so adorable!
17. Amika Haute Mess Texture Gel
No products found.
One of the newly launched hair products for spring 2017 is the Amika Haute Mess Texture Gel, and believe me when I say that this is not your ordinary gel!
When applied to the hair, this texture gel will leave the hair feeling soft but with a textured finish. I personally think that this is the kind of gel we all need especially when the sun is high during spring and summer.
18. Maui Moisture Thicken & Restore Blowout Spray
Another new spring 2017 hair product is the Maui Moisture Thicken & Restore Blowout Spray, which is a pre-styling hair treatment.

Declutter with These Brilliant Ideas for Makeup Organizers
These creative and easy-to-find makeup organizers will give your lipsticks, eyeshadow quads, palettes, and pots an awesome home! Buy them cheap or make your own − your call.
Here’s a question: Can you find your favorite lipstick for me? If you can’t recall, then it’s time to declutter your vanity and use makeup organizers.
We have here some of the best makeup organizer and storage ideas you can buy for cheap or DIY if you want to be more creative.
The most important thing is you save yourself time and hassle when finding your well-loved makeup products!
1. Magnetic Board
One of the ingenious makeup organizers, this DIY helps put all your makeup in one vertical space. And, since you can mount this on the wall, you can save more space in your room or vanity.
Tip: Place all the makeup you wear on a daily basis on this magnetic board for easy access.
2. Acrylic Makeup Organizers
One of the more common makeup storage ideas is by using acrylic boxes. Clear and compact, you can store just about all your cosmetic products and not have to worry about losing one from your sight.
3. Ikea Alex 5 Drawer
The Ikea Alex drawer is another easy makeup storage solution. You can organize your makeup in different categories from top to bottom, and you can also fit plastic containers for separate compartments.
If you buy two, you can add a plank of thick wood, paint it with your favorite color, place it on top of the two drawers, and voila, you have an instant home office desk. How neat is that?
4. Shoe Organizer
This hanging shoe organizer idea is excellent for dorms or small rooms. Just hang it by a corner or door and put your makeup into the pockets. You can also put labels on the clear plastic pouch for better organization.
5. Mounted Mason Jars
If you want to save money on your makeup storage cases while still being artsy, you can do this mounted mason jar project! Mason jars are everywhere, and they’re incredibly cheap (or you can recycle similar-sized jars).
Get a wooden plank, make it rustic by sanding it, coat it with new paint, add screw metal clamps fitting the opening of the jars, and insert the mason jars. That’s it! You can attach hooks at the bottom too to organize your jewelry.
6. Candle Jars Makeup Organizers
Got some old candle jars lying around? Breathe new life into them by making them usable and cute makeup storage. Simply place your makeup brushes into the jar or you can put some pebbles first for some added charm.
7. Ikea Makeup Vanity
This Ikea vanity hack with a clear glass top is another good way of organizing your makeup. Not only that, but it’s also great storage to display your jewelry and other accessories.
The glass top allows you to see the makeup underneath while you can use the shelf space to organize other makeup in clear plastic or acrylic makeup organizers.
For a fancy take on the mason jar DIY makeup storage, cover half of the entire jar with glue then sprinkle with glitter until fully covered. Add some vinyl decals for extra cuteness.
9. Clear Makeup Brush Storage
Clear containers are easily bought at craft stores for a good value. In order to create an efficient brush holder, don’t forget to fill them halfway with plastic or iridescent beads so your brushes don’t fall to the sides.
Separate those brushes you use for your eyes and face, too.
10. Christmas Gift Boxes
If you have unused or empty gift boxes, you can use them as incredibly cheap makeup organizers. You can create mini compartments to fit your blushes, compacts, or, in this case, lipsticks.
Cover them with a piece of patterned fabric or paper so they’ll look nicer.
11. Ikea Raskog Makeup Organizers
This Ikea Raskog hack allows you to have a rolling makeup storage unit in the house. Label each shelf to organize properly and set it up near your vanity mirror for ease of use.
12. Recycled Plastic
After drinking sodas and other beverages, don’t throw those plastic bottles yet! You can cut and decorate it to give you lightweight and inexpensive makeup organizers.
13. Nail Polish Rack
There’s more to your nail polish rack than keeping your hordes of coveted nail polishes. It is also a good way to store makeup in bullet-form containers like lipsticks, lip glosses, and some liquid foundation bottles.
You can also fit palettes in the rack, and you have a little corner to effectively hold your makeup.
14. Leather Brush Holder
Good for traveling, a roll-up makeup brush organizer or holder does not need to be expensive. You only need to get creative. Store your makeup brushes properly in this leather roll-up bag to keep them away from dirt and dust.
Unroll anywhere when you’re out and about! Just in case leather isn’t your thing, you can also use a sushi mat for your DIY makeup brush holder.
15. Medicine Cabinet
If you’re one of those who spends most beauty-time in the bathroom, then this is one of the best makeup storage ideas for you! Make room for your makeup right inside your medicine cabinet (or built-in bathroom wall cabinet).
16. Recycled Paper Towel Tubes
Looking for makeup organizer DIY ideas? This should be one of the easiest and simplest, yet chic and cheap at the same time.
Don’t throw those paper towel tubes as you can make them into makeup storage. Simply wrap them with colorful or patterned paper and glue each on a plastic plate.
Be as innovative as you like! With this makeup organizing idea, you’re one step closer to being zero waste.
17. Napkin Holder Organizer
Everything about this napkin holder palette organizer is awesome. No need to stack your eyeshadow palettes on top of each other. It also fits your vanity table or your makeup cabinet − it’s just genius.
Whether you have a lot of makeup or less, storing them is essential in keeping them clean and sanitized. Get creative and think outside the box with your makeup organizers!
Which of these makeup organizers are you planning to add to your vanity? Let us know in the comments section below!

Over the years, I’ve learned how to take the perfect selfie every time. Selfies are here to stay, and I have no shame participating in this trend. Today, I’ll share with you my secret to that perfect Insta selfie!
How to Take the Perfect Selfie With the Best Selfie Stick
The Perfect Selfie
That way, when I’ve just finished a difficult and stunning makeup look, I can snap a selfie. When I’m with my friends on the weekends, we take selfies.
At family gatherings, celebrations, and even on my nights in, there’s going to be a selfie to commemorate the moment.
It’s a great way to show your personality, capture the moment and treasure those memories spent with people you love.
Don’t get me wrong, though. Taking the ultimate selfie is not necessarily the easiest skill to master. You don’t have to be a professional photographer with a fancy camera to get the shot.
It can even be done with just an iPhone, but you do need to remember to always find the best lighting, angles, and composition. We all know a selfie isn’t worth it unless it’s flattering.
Components of a Perfect Selfie
Lighting, angle, and composition are the three major components of a perfect selfie. The absence of one makes a big difference and may result in a shot that could end up in trash eventually.
For lighting, make sure you’re near a window or outside. You don’t want a washed-out look in your shot after you’ve finally nailed your winged eyeliner look after 100 failed attempts.
Finding the best angle might take some extra effort, but it will transform your selfies from weak to on fleek.
Composition is important for your scenic or group photos. You have to frame the selfie to include your best angle AND the other people or landmarks in the shot.
Don’t be afraid to crop afterward! It’s your selfie, so edit until it surpasses your expectations!
With the holidays approaching, you’re going to want to snap a selfie or two at all your parties and events. Whether it’s of you and your BFF or the whole family together for Christmas, a selfie is definitely happening.
The Best Selfie Stick
Now that you’ve had a few years to try out different selfie sticks, you’ve probably come across a few problems with most standard sticks:
They’re a hassle to lug around.
They’re often plastic that easily breaks, especially lying around in your purse.
The stick isn’t long enough for those large group shots.
They’re too flimsy to safely hold up your iPhone making it hard to find the best lighting and angles.
If you’re tired of letting cheap selfie sticks ruin what could be your next best Insta shot, take a look at this selfie stick case!
I’m telling you, I didn’t become the Selfie Queen with just any selfie stick. I needed a durable but lightweight, Bluetooth-equipped, travel-friendly product for all my selfies.
Luckily, what I found was even better: a selfie stick. That way, whenever I’m headed to an event or finishing up my work of art, I can quickly switch out my cases.
I’m ready for any selfie-perfect moment, and I know my phone is safe. The 10-meter pole also guarantees all your relatives will be able to get in on the family photo this year.
Watch this below by ruslanagee for some tips and tricks on how to take selfies like a model:
Don’t wait until after the holidays to look into this selfie stick case. It comes highly recommended, and gives you the gift of beautiful selfies all throughout the holiday season!

Are you looking into undercut designs to add an edge to your locks? An undercut could be as subtle as you want, or as daring as you want it. Are you more of a cool girl or it girl? Are you looking into undercut designs to add an edge to your locks? An undercut could be as subtle as you want, or as daring as you want it.
Are you more of a cool girl or it girl? Continue scrolling to find your undercut inspiration.
Keep your undercut subtle, barely there, but still with maximum effect.
Fade it out or draw a fine line, the edginess will still come through. This is a great stepping stone for beauties that want to experiment with edgier and cooler hairstyles, but are hesitant to go under the shaver. Just shave off as far as the ear line, then work your way up from there – if you’re daring enough.
2. Red Hot Undercut
Redheads can have fun too!
Add a dash of radiance to your locks with shampoo for specifically for redheads. They’ll bring out the vibrant tones in your tresses and make your undercut designs even hotter.
3. Bleach Beauty
Having two tones in your hair is a great way to show off the contrast between an edgy haircut design and a classic style. Maintain your dark locks in your undercut, then bleach your locks.
Curling it will likewise add a bit of femininity and a cool girl vibe.
4. Slick Back
Pull your hair back for a strong and bold undercut design.
Not a fan of the wet hair look most gels give you? Apply mousse on damp, towel-dried hair and run your hands through your hair, sweeping it back lightly to give it some volume. Once your hair dries, the mousse will maintain its hold throughout the day, keeping your hair back without leaving a trace of slickness.
If you like the wet hair look, look for a gel with a strong hold and a high shine. This look could be cool and modern, but still business casual.
5. Two-Tone Undercut Designs
Extra adventurous with your locks? A two-tone hair color that screams fun paired with a rad undercut that reveals a cool personality makes for a great crown.
I love how the long, blue, layered tresses contrast with the brightly colored undercut. Add tinges of green and magenta for gorgeous mermaid hair.
6. Electric Undercut Designs
This undercut design is another great one for beginners that need a do that will go from bold to business casual in under a minute.
Rock a short bob parted in the middle and allow your undercut to peak by putting your hair behind your ear. Time for that video conference call? Simply untuck your hair and straighten out your hair.
Upgrade your undercut bob by coloring your undercut with a bright electric color to contrast with cool, jet black hair.
7. Stacked
Undercutting both sides of your head making you look flat?
Combat that by trimming your hair into a stacked pixie or short, stacked bob. A stacked haircut has many layers that will create both volume and dimension to your locks. Other ways to add dimension are highlights and lowlights. Take your pick.
Undercut designs could just be another detail you add to your locks rather than the centerpiece. How you wear your crown depends 100% on your preferences, queen.
8. Cool Curls
An undercut can also be a fierce way to control tightly coiled or 3C curly hair.
Kick off your curly girl reboot journey by chopping off your locks. The slit at the side is to add a dose of attitude in case someone mistakes you for a nice girl. But if you really are a sweetheart, keep your curly hair longer in a short bob or lob.
Don’t forget to use curl definition cream on your hair on your wash days. It will keep your curls curly and keep them from frizzing and drying out.
9. Pretty in Pastel
Keep it pretty neat with a pretty pink pastel hair color. Pastel hues can help soften your looks if you find your undercut design was done a bit too tough.
I swear by using a good mousse on damp hair to keep your hair neat, but never flat. If you want to add a bit of volume to your hair, apply heat protection spray and a mousse on damp hair. Blow dry your hair with a large roller brush section by section then finish off with a lightweight hair spray.
10. Long Undercut Designs
Love your long hair? Since an undercut design takes only up only a section of your hair (of your choosing), you can still maintain your long locks.
A chic detail to add to your undercut is to push back your hairline and allow it to fade down the sides. This look goes excellent with a fierce pair of cat eyes and a deep, natural lip color.
Growing out your pixie? This look is great for beauties transitioning to a short bob, but want to avoid the awkward growing out stage. Think of this as the last station to your bob journey.
Give the ultra-short look one last ride before you take off, adding undercut designs to the sides of your head but keeping your crown long.
Keep your crown layered or stacked to add much-needed volume. This way, you’ll also get to chop off the pesky split ends so you get to grow a healthy head of hair.
12. Very Violet
I love electric shades of color as they add an edge that isn’t as intimidating as your typical dark-colored hues. And a warm tone like this lovely lavender shade is just the perfect shade for someone looking for something bold, yet feminine. And the undercut design just blends in and plays well to the modern concept.
Keep the undercut to a minimum if this is your first time. If you have post-salon regrets, you won’t have to worry since this hairstyle will grow to an ethereal pixie cut in no time at all.
If you colored your hair this shade, remember to use purple shampoo regularly. Follow the instructions on the bottle to make the most of your unicorn hair.
13. Bob With Undercut Designs
So you went from long locks to a bold bob, but didn’t quite achieve the edgy effect you were going for? A subtle undercut design ought to do the trick.
I love the cool platinum shade that so well sets the tone for the makeup and the OOTD. With a look like this, you won’t have to work so hard to style the rest of your look.
This hair color will look amazing on babes with skins with cooler undertones. However, this might wash out some beauties with warmer undertones and leave you looking a bit sickly.
14. Medium Bob With Undercut Designs
Company director by day, but rocker chic at night?
Mask your undercut underneath voluminous layers. Also keep the section of the undercut at a minimum, shaving off just below the temple until the tip of your ears. This way, even though you tuck your hair behind your ears, the look will still be understated.
This is just the right amount of edge for those that work a 9 to 5, then a 12-3 later that night.
15. Power Do
On second thought, why hide a chic undercut? Your undercut could work to upgrade your office suit to a power suit.
Toss the larger section all the way to the side to show off your edge. You can fade out the hair behind your undercut or chop it off short to create a mohawk-like effect.
16. Braided Crown
Frame your undercut like you would a beautiful piece of art with neatly done French braids just above your undercut. This look offers such an ethereal feel, great for beauties that want an undercut but want to maintain a soft, pretty girl vibe.
It’s also perfect for babes that are striving for a boho chic look. The braids provide the boho, the undercut designs provide the chic.
17. X-Shaped Undercut Designs
If you tie your hair frequently, add another layer of edge with an undercut design. You can also shave your undercut in a diamond shape to give it a more unique feel. This type of look might require some regular maintenance.
